This oversize sweater is worked in pieces: back, front and two sleeves. The pieces are worked from the ribbed bottom edging up. The neckband is worked in the round from stitches picked up the neck edge after the pieces are seamed. The sleeves are a modified dropped shoulder construction.
 
The colour work ‘Nubian Queen’ is worked using the Intarsia technique and is worked following the chart. The intarsia chart is fairly straightforward to follow and can be knit by intermediate knitters new to the intarsia colourwork technique.
