The cardigan is worked flat in one piece from the twisted rib hem to the armholes, then split to work the fronts and back separately. The lace sleeves are worked flat then set into the armholes and seamed, then the button band is picked up and worked in twisted rib. The 4-row lace pattern can be
worked from a chart or from written instructions to suit your preference.
