Village Life is a statement V-neck coatigan with dropped sleeves. It is a long cardigan with all round scenery depicting an African village with houses, people, trees and animals. This design is inspired by social interactions in a traditional rural African village and is intended to encourage conversation. The garment is constructed flat from bottom up in pieces.

The colorful garment is worked using intarsia and stranded colorwork techniques. The button band is knitted separately and sewn onto the garment after seaming.
